My entry to the #monomad challenge
Hello to all black and white lovers. It's been almost a month since I took these pictures because they were taken in a Safari we did last month, but work had not allowed me to edit them. I want to show you part of the place where the Safari took place, which is a neighborhood in Old Havana called San Isidro, so that you can get to know a little bit of the life here and I can resume my travels in this magnificent community.
I tell you that this neighborhood was chosen for the Safari because it is well known for its graffiti and despite the low standard of living that many people have, it is full of color. These colors are what we wanted to take advantage of together with the models that accompanied us but today I just want to show you the place. Basically we met in a park where you can find huge graffiti like the one you can see in the first image. From the moment we took the start photo where we tried to be all those who attended, we spread out looking for those photos that many times we already know we want to do. In my case I always try to see the daily life of the place and try to capture it, in the photos with models I almost always come up with the ideas on the spot.

Hola a todos los amantes del blanco y negro. Ya hace casi un mes desde que hice estas fotos pues fueron en un Safari que realizamos del mes pasado, pero el trabajo no me había posibilitado editarlas. Les quiero mostrar parte del lugar donde se realizo el Safari que es un barrio de la Habana Vieja llamado San Isidro para que puedan conocer un poco la vida aquí y de paso retomar mis andadas en esta magnifica comunidad.
Les cuento que se eligió este barrio para el Safari porque es muy conocido por los grafitis y a pesar de el bajo nivel de vida que tienen muchas de las personas aquí se llena un poco de color. Estos colores son los que buscábamos aprovechar de conjunto con los modelos que nos acompañaban pero hoy solo quiero mostrarles el lugar. Básicamente nos reunimos en un parque donde se encuentran grafitis enormes como el que pueden apreciar en la primera imagen. A partir de que hicimos la foto de inicio donde tratamos de estar todos los que asistimos, nos dispersamos buscando esas fotos que muchas veces ya tenemos ya sabemos que queremos hacer. En mi caso siempre busco ver la vida cotidiana del lugar y trato de captarla, en las fotos con modelos casi siempre se me ocurren las ideas en el lugar.
