Selection of photos from the Calgary Comic Expo Parade of Wonders. I have taken these photos added a blurred bokeh effect to them and converted to monochrome. I have done the same thing with my color versions of these but decided that seeing a whole set in black and white was a worth while experiment.

My wife’s son and his wife used to each year to the NY Comicon but I never joined them
Seeing these images makes me thing it’s a great spot for people photos with so many in costumes and no doubt happy to have their photos taken
Street and people photography is something I have never been comfortable with but at an event like this I think I would be
Thanks appreciate it! Its a fun time, I find it much easier to approach people there because it seems more natural for people wanting to have their pictures taken and everyone seem fairly friendly and respectful.
