Seeing these cosplayers in the streets of downtown Calgary inspires me to take an almost endless amount of photos. I am approaching 10 years of catching these events and now over the past year I have been converting some to black and white. The results have brought new life to these images, and made me view things in a different way. I think it really helps make these feel more candid, caught in moment style scenes that I wish was an every day thing here.
