Monomad: Water Drop Macro

Sometimes it can feel like you have to throw everything you've got, including the kitchen sink, into finding something interesting to shoot. In this case I definitely included the sink, filled it with water, and let the drops from my tap create something compelling. Anytime I do this for black and white, it reminds me of liquid metal, kind of like the T1000 from Terminator 2 trying to take shape. It helps to use a little flash to freeze the action and plenty of trial and error will ake the efforts turn into some really neat macro images.

Solid pictures 😍, that moment is hard to take

Capturing the movement of water and its forms is quite an art. Excellent work, my friend!
