G reetings, friends of #blackandwhite. I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older and value my survival instinct more, or if I’m just a bit afraid of heights, but every time I see these guys diving into the sea, dodging the dangerous rocks, just for the thrill of danger or the chance of getting caught by the police, it gives me goosebumps. A few days ago, a group of them, seeing me taking photos, took me to watch their deadly antics. And believe me, I’m not exaggerating when I say what they were doing was very dangerous, and no matter how much I tried to persuade them to change their minds, it only motivated them more.

Yo no sé si es que me estoy poniendo viejo y el instinto de supervivencia lo valoro más o que soy algo miedoso a las alturas, pero cada vez que veo a estos chicos lanzarse al mar sorteando las peligrosas rocas solo por el placer que trae el peligro o que lo atrape la policía, se me ponen los pelos de punta. Hace algunos días, un grupo de ellos, al verme haciendo fotos, me llevaron a ver sus peripecias mortales. Y créanme, no exagero al decir que era muy peligroso lo que hacían, y por más que los persuadí para que cambiaran de parecer, esto les motivaba más.

In the end, I gave up trying to advise them because they weren’t even listening to me anymore; in fact, they were ignoring me. I stayed there for a while until they got bored and went to find another spot along the coast to take their stunts up a notch on the danger scale. I was speechless.

Al final desistí de aconsejarles porque ya ni caso me hacían; más, me ignoraban. Así estuve un rato hasta que se aburrieron y fueron a buscar otro lugar en la costa para subir un rango más en la escala de peligro. Quedé sin palabras.
