Greetings, friends, how are you doing?
I studied teaching as a profession, which is why I feel a strong passion for teaching new generations. It's like a need that goes beyond any setback and drives me to collaborate when it comes to education. Near my house, there is a community project called "Little Art Farm" where drawing workshops are given to young people from schools in the community. Today, I was given the opportunity to teach about photography, birds, and how to draw them. Needless to say, I also took photos in the process. Here they are.
These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.
The space has a classroom, engraving workshop, and exhibition hall, where students display their work.
At first, I wasn't very hopeful that they would be interested in the topic, to be honest, but I was impressed because as soon as we handed out the materials, the kids got to work.
The importance of caring for the local ecosystem, birds and their protection, and basic photography techniques were the topics that generated the most interest.
There was always time to photograph a little animal.
This is just the beginning of an idea that arose from the need to educate new generations, and I know that little by little it will gain acceptance among the youngest members of the community.

Saludos amigos, ¿qué tal les va?
Estudié magisterio por profesión, de ahí que siento una fuerte pasión por enseñar a las nuevas generaciones. Es como una necesidad que va más allá de cualquier contratiempo y me impulsa a colaborar si de educar se trata. Cerca de mi casa existe un proyecto comunitario llamado "Finquita del Arte" donde se imparten talleres de dibujo a jóvenes de las escuelas de la comunidad. Hoy me dieron la oportunidad de enseñar sobre fotografía, aves y cómo dibujarlas. De más está decir que también hice fotos en el proceso. Se las muestro.
El espacio cuenta con un aula, taller de grabado y sala expositiva, donde los estudiantes muestran sus obras.
Al principio no tenía mucha ilusión en que les fuese a interesar el tema, esa es la verdad, pero me impresionaron porque apenas les repartimos los materiales, los chicos se pusieron en acción.
La importancia de cuidar el ecosistema local, las aves y su protección, elementos básicos de fotografía, fueron los temas que más interesaron.
Siempre hubo tiempo para fotografiar un animalito.
Apenas es el comienzo de una idea que nació de la necesidad de educar a las nuevas generaciones y yo sé que poco a poco irá teniendo más aceptación entre los más jóvenes de la comunidad.
