Sitana ponticeriana is a lizard that inhabits the Asian region. In Indonesia itself this lizard is found with a variety of species that are still alive and settled to this day. However, due to climate change that is increasingly eroding nature many of these species are becoming slowly extinct. It is unfortunate indeed if there is no special attention from the government and the local community to protect the existence of this endangered species.
Sitana ponticeriana can still be found one by one. It is because of its continued threatened existence, akhibat from the extinction of forests and the increasingly damaged environment.
When I was a kid, I was even clear considering that various types of lizards are very easy to find, such as green lizards, iguanas and some other lizards. As time went on this animal began to become rare, it was very rarely found, I myself did not know the cause. Do any friends here know why these lizards are extinct?
