This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
When I take pictures of skaters, they almost never wear helmets, unless they are minors. So when I noticed this one wearing a helmet and not being a minor, I focused on taking some pictures of him. I hope you enjoy these photos.
Cuando hago fotografías a los patinadores, casi nunca usan casco, a menos que sean menores de edad. Por eso, cuando me percaté de este que sí estaba usando y no era un menor de edad, me centré en hacerle algunas fotografías, espero que disfruten de estas fotografías en esta ocasión.
Obviously, I agree that, for any sport, regardless of its difficulty, there should be some kind of protection, since bad luck can strike at any time. It also worked out quite well for the photographs; I feel it gives today's protagonist a more athletic look.
Evidentemente, comparto la idea de que, para cualquier deporte, sin importar su dificultad, debería haber algún tipo de protección, ya que la mala suerte es algo que puede estar en cualquier momento. Igual para las fotografías quedó bastante bien, siento que le da un aspecto más deportivo al protagonista del día de hoy.
Of course, I also understand that there are more experienced athletes who no longer need to wear so much protection or who feel ready to do things without so much gear on, but even so, I think a little extra safety never hurts. I really liked these photos; they embody sportsmanship quite well.
Claro que también entiendo que hay deportistas más experimentados que ya no necesitan usar tanta protección o ya se sienten preparados para hacer las cosas sin tantas cosas encima, pero aun así creo que nunca está de más un poco de seguridad. Estas fotografías me gustaron bastante, encarnan la deportividad bastante bien.
