This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
Some people dislike strong sunlight in photographs, and while it can either help or hinder what you're trying to achieve, I think it's always interesting to use this factor to your advantage. That's why today I'm sharing some photographs I took in strong sunlight, making the most of the shadows. I hope you enjoy them.
Hay algunas personas que tienen cierto odio al sol fuerte en las fotografías y, si bien, dependiendo de lo que quieras conseguir, te puede beneficiar o dañar lo que quieres, creo que este factor siempre es interesante utilizarlo a tu favor en cualquier momento; por eso hoy les comparto algunas fotografías que hice con el sol fuerte y aprovechando las sombras. Que las disfruten.
This scene took place in Guaquira, a place I have told you about before and shared photographs of, but on this occasion, they were giving a talk about cocoa, the objects they make by hand, and showing them to blind people. Therefore, the best way for them to appreciate these things was by touching them, and that was when I took advantage of the moment to take these photographs, where the sun was perfect for illuminating certain areas.
Este escenario se llevó a cabo en Guaquira, lugar del que les he hablado en otra ocasión y compartido fotografías, pero en esta ocasión, estaban dando una charla con respecto al cacao, los objetos que hacen a mano y los mostraban a personas ciegas; por ende, la mejor manera de que ellos apreciaran mejor estas cosas era tocándolas, y fue cuando aproveché el momento de hacer estas fotografías donde el sol vino perfecto para iluminar ciertas zonas.
Of course, as I mentioned at the beginning, it all depends on what you want to do, but I would say that there is always a way to take advantage of your surroundings. I thought it would be difficult to take photos with such high contrast, but I loved the final result; it's definitely a way to appreciate the details more.
Sin duda, como mencioné al principio, todo depende de lo que quieras hacer, pero diría que siempre hay alguna manera de aprovechar tu entorno. Yo pensé que sería difícil hacer fotos con un alto contraste así, pero para el resultado final me encantó; es una forma de apreciar más los detalles, sin duda.
