This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
Taking advantage of the sunlight when you are outdoors (indoors can also work very well) is interesting, because it can help you frame certain things or enhance others, this time I wanted to give this contrast in the face of Daniela, who was my model for this photo shoot.
Aprovechar la luz del sol cuando te encuentras en exteriores (en interiores también puede funcionar muy bien) es interesante, porque te puede ayudar a enmarcar ciertas cosas o realzar otras, en esta ocasión quise dar este contraste en el rostro de Daniela, quien fue mi modelo para esta sesión de fotos.
While it all depends on what you want to achieve, there are situations where the sun can be quite strong or very subtle, so you have to compensate a bit in postproduction. That's why I tried to give a little more light to this area and darken the shadows a little more, creating a more noticeable contrast.
Si bien todo depende de lo que quieras lograr, hay situaciones donde el sol puede ser bastante fuerte o muy sutil, por eso hay que compensar un poco en postproducción. Por eso intenté dar un poco más de luz a esta zona y oscurecer un poco más las sombras, creando así un contraste más notable.
Since the place had some very stained colors, I thought it would be best to use black and white, both to highlight the light and to focus the attention clearly on Daniela. Also, personally, I find that black and white tends to give a touch of drama and I love that.
Como el lugar tenía unos colores muy manchados, pensé que lo mejor sería un blanco y negro, tanto para resaltar más la luz, como para centrar la atención claramente en Daniela. Además, en lo personal considero que el blanco y negro suelen dar un toque de dramatismo y eso me encanta.
