#MONOMAD: Dead letters [ENG-ESP]

Desolate spaces
Where your only company was the weight of time.
Time that in vain has not elapsed
As so many hands have passed for you.
Hands that instead of protecting you
They gave you up to abandonment.

Dark corridors,
Organized order,
Flimsy bases...
All, your abode.

Shelter of natural intruders.

One day, somewhat bored, while at work (I work in an art museum), I wanted to take a different look at these spaces, at the library. While I was capturing each image, I was flooded with the nostalgia of seeing the loss of more and more great titles, works, essays ... Are they lost in what sense? Many people (in my country) have abandoned the culture of learning and exploiting their imagination by getting lost among infinite lines of new worlds.

Espacios desolados
En donde tu única compañía era el peso del tiempo.
Tiempo que en vano no ha transcurrido
Como transcurrieron por ti tantas manos.
Manos que en vez de protegerte,
Al abandono te entregaron.

Oscuros pasillos,
Orden organizado,
Bases endebles...
Todos, su morada.

Albergue de intrusos naturales

Un día, algo aburrida, estando en el trabajo (laboro en un museo de arte),quise darle una mirada distinta a estos espacios, a la biblioteca. Mientras iba captando cada imagen, me inundaba la nostalgia de ver perder, cada vez más, grandes títulos, obras, ensayos... ¿Se pierden en qué sentido? Muchas personas (en mi país) han abandonado la cultura del aprendizaje y explotar su imaginación al perderse entre líneas infinitas de nuevos mundos.
