Something switches into surrender mode…

in Black And White21 hours ago (edited)

I believe patience is something that arrives with great naturalness, when deep within you—where you never imagined such power could reside—something switches into surrender mode…

...and an echo begins to speak, so deep and gentle it feels as though life is caressing you on a soft bed, cushioned by the memory of those fleeting sensations of calm and fullness we’ve experienced from time to time, and which lead us to exclaim: Oh, this feels like happiness! So, I imagine that place also carries scents that evoke pure ecstasy. It would be each person’s own version of paradise here on Earth, on this plane, where we came to cohabit with all that is beautiful and its counterparts…

The voice should sound like a call to let everything unfold at its own pace, to allow the next step to surprise you. However painful things may be right now, just around the corner lies a path full of rewards.

And so I came to the conclusion that no, I definitely haven’t lived this… it may make perfect sense, and that conviction came to me during a moment of meditation; yet patience is not acquired by simply being aware of the need for it. It is something that reveals itself… and once it does, almost imperceptibly, your life begins to change.

I hope this series of photos rounds out what I’m trying to express with words, and through them I’d also love to take part in the #Monomad Challenge.

If you’d like to take part, here’s the post featuring the standout photo entries from the previous edition, along with the rules for this Challenge. ;)

Really beautiful photos!! This one is my favorite. I guess yours too as it is your cover photo.

Yes, it's a very beautiful and unexpected photo. I was focusing on the reflections and that effect visible in the glass. And suddenly the boy walked by. Then I widened the frame and the elderly man was passing through, and my mind began making associations.

Thank you, @ramon2024.

Each word manages to hold each image in its embrace, which, in and of itself, doesn't require words because they, by themselves, embrace us.
Simply brilliant work!

La vida pacientemente nos inspira a disfrutar cada amanecer!

La vida pacientemente nos lleva a perder la paciencia... 🤣

Thank you very much @brumest and Qurator 😇.

Patience is a virtue that tests all living beings, but it only comes to those who truly understand how it works, like an owl that waits for hours for its prey to arrive 🦉 It comes without haste and without searching for it; it comes to those who know how to understand it...

🙃 Did the owl learn to live without hunger, meanwhile?

Good afternoon @nanixxx, thanks for reminding me, for when I forget like I did today, that I need to let go and surrender...
... I love the third image.

Un abrazo muy grande. 🤗

Let’s work through this together — I need it just as much. 😅

The third image is the Capitol dome. I spent a while trying to capture the shadow of the turkey vulture as it flew nearby… I didn’t get the image I wanted… since I was rushing over there, to that place where I end up dizzy haha from so much searching and searching and not finding.

Un abrazo muy grande de vuelta!

Things appear as surprises or something unexpected when in reality they are responses to something we have done.

I love this photo!
