Title: BW - cats
Yes, those cats are everywhere, but they each have their own domain that they rarely venture outside of. The cats that I frequently encounter seem to have established a permanent home near food sources. Because there is less food in the winter, animals occasionally stare curiously at falling leaves. Is there a treat or anything else concealed behind the leaves?
Some cats are lucky enough to snuggle up at a fast food kiosk. Like a sphinx, she guards the approach to the kiosk and expects a bite in return.
Fooood! Foooooood!
Gimme foooooood!
Her eyes expressed first hostility and then regret that I was abandoning her without feeding her.
Come back, please. I'll behave.
Some cats would rather be in the natural world than on the streets. For them, the lake's surroundings provide an expansive hunting area.
They are not used to being fed. They get food on their own. Even if it means spending hours in one spot lurking.
Some cats consider the world to be as large as what's outside their window.
