It's definitely goldenrod, but not useful?! It's a beautiful plant if you ask me, and pretty much all season long. Great shots!

Useful as in tomatoes, lettuce, beets.. :D
Besides that all weeds are nice and yes, this one is pretty awesome. I think I saw it in the wild too. They look really nice when there is lots of them growing all together.
