Hello to all of this web surfers!
Today an amazing series with several photographs of boats in Black and White.
Vessels have always been part of our history, from when human beings learned to navigate to the present day.
And that is why it is an object that can have different meanings, and it is the stage for many stories. Like Charon's boat in Greek mythology that crosses souls across the river that divides the land of the living and the dead. There is also Odysseus, hero of the Odyssey, who travels by boat across different worlds. The Ship of Mobi Dick, we also have the Paradox of Theseus (ship used by the young Theseus on the trip to the Minotaur), and even the Yellow Submarine. In the painting we have "La Nef des Fous" by Hieronymus Bosch, "La Barque de Dante" by Eugène Delacroix and "La Radeau de la Medusa" by Théodore Géricault.
Just a few examples of how craft has inspired humanity and artists for centuries.
We, as photographers and artist, could not be different and many of our photographs are from boats. It is something that catches our attention, either because it is an extremely symbolic work tool (searching for fish, food), because it is a means of transport (something that allows you to reach another "worlds") or because it is a leisure option ( strolling and navigating without a specific objective).
For many years we have lived in a fishing village and have been able to collect many photographs of boats, we have selected some here that we hope you like.

Hoje uma série incrível com diversas fotografias de barcos em Preto e Branco.
As embarcações sempre fizeram parte da nossa história, desde quando o ser humano aprendeu a navegar até os dias atuais.
E por isso é um objeto que pode ter diversos significados, e é palco para muitas histórias. Como o barco de Caronte na mitologia grega que atravessa as almas de um lado ao outro do rio que divide a terra dos vivos e dos mortos. Há também Ulisses, herói da Odisséia, que viaja de barco por diversos mundos. O Navio de Mobi Dick, temos também o Paradoxo de Teseu (navio usado pelo jovem Teseu na viagem até o Minotauro), e até o Yellow Submarine. Na pintura temos "A Nau dos Insensatos" de Bosch, "A Barca de Dante" de Delacroix e "A Balsa da Medusa" de Géricault.
Apenas alguns exemplos de como embarcações tem inspirado a humanidade e artistas durante séculos.
Nós, como fotógrafos e artista, não podiamos ser diferentes e muitas das nossas fotografias são de embarcações. É algo que nos chama atenção, seja por ser uma ferramenta de trabalho extremamente simbólica (buscar o peixe, o alimento), por ser um meio de transporte (algo que permite chegar a outro "mundo") ou por ser uma opção de lazer (passear e navegar sem um objetivo específico).
Por muitos anos vivemos em uma vila de pescadores e pudemoa juntar muitas fotografias de embarcações, selecionamos algumas aqui que esperamos.que gostem.
