Hello Hiver friends! The black and white community is brilliant.
Today I want to tell you about an illuminating and very professionally enriching experience. A few days ago, I participated for the first time in the religious procession of the Virgen de las Mercedes (Our Lady of Mercy) in Old Havana. It was a unique experience and, what's more, a spectacular photographic opportunity.
A Tribute to the Photographic Community
My main purpose today, however, is to pay a sincere tribute to my colleagues, lovers and enthusiasts of this marvelous art. It's an immense pleasure to meet in these spaces; it's not just about capturing the image, but about sharing the passion, techniques, and emotion of the moment with other lenses. I had the joy of reconnecting with old friends and, even better, meeting new talent. It feels incredible to be in such pleasant company.
I want to highlight those my lens managed to capture: @muhammadhalim and @melmily249, in addition to other colleagues who may not be familiar with Hive.

Hoy quiero hablarles de una experiencia reveladora y de mucho crecimiento profesional. Hace unos días, participé por primera vez en la procesión religiosa de la Virgen de las Mercedes en la Habana Vieja. Fue una vivencia única y, además, una oportunidad fotográfica espectacular.
Un Homenaje a la Comunidad Fotográfica
Pero mi propósito principal hoy es rendir un sincero homenaje a mis colegas, amantes y apasionados de este maravilloso arte. Es un placer inmenso poder coincidir en estos espacios; no solo se trata de capturar la imagen, sino de compartir la pasión, las técnicas y la emoción del momento con otros lentes. Tuve la dicha de reencontrarme con viejos amigos y, lo que es mejor, conocer a nuevos talentos. Se siente increíble estar en compañía tan grata.
Quiero destacar a quienes mi lente pudo capturar: @muhammadhalim y @melmily249, además de otros colegas que quizás no conozca en Hive.

Merecido homenaje a quienes no salen en la fotografía, pero son responsables de lo que las personas admiran después. Los fotógrafos merecen reconocimientos a diario. En especial esos dos amigos y más vale aún porque viene de otro amigo y colega.
