This is my entry for the #monomad challenge curated by @monochromes today.
Hi everyone, how are you, my friends, I hope you all have a nice day. On this occasion, I went back around the rice fields to see the rice plants that I planted two months ago, and on the edge of the rice fields I saw that there were many wild taro plants growing well here, and accidentally saw this small beetle crawling on one of the wild taro leaves, and at that time I immediately approached it to see up close this species of beetle.
At first this little beetle was hiding behind this wild taro leaf and at that time I waited for this beetle species to calm down so that it would not fly away in another direction. And a few minutes later I immediately approached it and took several different angles of close-up pictures, and managed to take some pictures that looked so interesting and graceful, and you can see below some portraits of this little beetle species which is known by another name, namely Phyllobius argentatus, and I hope you like it.
This small beetle species has a rather large body shape with a golden yellow color that looks so eye-catching, and its small head and snout mouth look so attractive and two small eyes that look so perfect, and at that time I took several different angles of the picture to see the interesting side of this small beetle species, and I hope you like some of the portraits of this beetle species that I took this afternoon on the edge of the rice fields.
Phyllobius argentatus is a species of short-nosed weevil commonly known as the silver-green leaf weevil.....Wikipedia
