My entry for the #monomad challenge.

I have swapped out malt beverages for steel for inventory counts, which I have learned this past week. That means I get to count pounds and inches of all types of metals at my new place of work.

I'm learning all sorts of new stuff...hot rolled versus cold rolled steel, plates versus angles, and stainless versus aluminum. It also means I can take a few photos here and there when I'm out and about counting.

It's not quite like old tanks of beer or vats of grime, but it is still very industrial. I love to take photos of industrial objects; the metal and shadows always come off more compelling when thrown into black and white.

Hopefully more opportunities for shadows and light on metal. At least that's the hope when the opportunity affords itself.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my work. More to hopefully come next week - thanks again.
