My entry for the #monomad challenge.
Today's visit to the Mississippi River at lunch time was a cold one. Between the high waters of the river and the cold northern breeze, I literally felt like I was standing somewhere on Lake Superior or the Atlantic. It's not often I get that sense in landlocked Wisconsin...
As I approached the river, I zoomed in on the white caps and texture of the river as it rolled by with a ton of energy. Sure there were large trees floating by, but the waves were full of energy and patterns...perfect for my new Pixel's camera first #monomad challenge.
It's been a bit since I've posted in the #blackandwhite community, but hopefully I'm back. Thanks for checking out my Mississippi ocean waves post...until next week (hopefully!)
Great shots man, definitely a lot of energy flowing on by there! White caps on a River isn’t too common but on a beast like the Mississippi, it doesn’t shock me!
I wish i could have taken an image of this 50 foot tree just crusing by on the mainchannel - it looked like an old pirate ship or something blowing by, lol
