Monomad Challenge : Reflections Upon a Marsh

My entry for the #monomad challenge.

I'm fortunate enough to live near what some would consider a swamp, directly in the middle of the city I live in. Most would consider that to be a nuisance, but I consider it to be a blessing. Nothing is better than going for a hike or even a run, in the middle of a swamp, some 5 minutes away from where I live.

Spring and the spectre of winter's death were strong on this photoshoot with my trusty Pixel.

And despite humanity having impeded upon nature, as it always seems to do, there is still an odd beautify to the reflections upon the water.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by and checking out this simple sequence of images. When I get in a mood and pull my head out of the water that is life, it's fun to bounce around, observe the world, and take the occasional photograph.

Man that one is a crazy shot.

The contrast between the trees and sky is great but that murky water looks like something out of The Swamp Thing.

Amazing the shots you will take when you integrate that into your life.

Well thank you! I am actually a big fan of the Swamp Thing, by the way. That Alan Moore stuff was quite the read, back in the day.
