Hail to the Hive!
Well yesterday I posted my #monomad post and failed (again) to put it into this community. I must be getting old 😂. Not today however. This morning is our third day back in the cruising groove and yesterday we made it off the Llangollen Canal onto the Shropshire Union Canal and then took a right onto the Middlewich arm of the Shroppie heading for the Trent and Mersey Canal today. Phew! Thats a lot of chugging at 3mph.
I do love waking up somewhere new every day. It’s a cool feeling. Making your coffee looking out at a new morning in a new spot.
Then taking it outside to drink and listen to the birds.
So we are slowly finfing our old Rhythm as well as we negotiate our way through locke and lift bridges. The weather has given us a real glimpse of Spring and the sun has been teasing us with a promise of what summer could bring. Please please please lets have a good summer. Ooooh the BBQs will be sooooo goood.
I love this nomadic life. It is always ever changing and full of the promise of new things.
