Hail to the Hive!
We've now been living onboard Badger the Narrowboat for 8 months and it is only now that we are able to take advantage of some of the canal delights on offer. One of these is canal side pubs.
When we first arrived back in the UK all the pubs were closed and cruising by them was agonising as it had been years since I had been in a good old english Pub and there they all were....closed.
But now restrictions have eased somewhat and they are pretty much open and business as usual so we arranged to rendezvous with @diveratt at the Two Boats Pub as we made our way into Leamington Spa. He was an absolute star and treated us to a slap up meal of Lamb shanks and steak and ale pies. Utterly delicious. All washed down with copious amounts of beer (rhubarb gin for @millycf1976).
I couldn't resist getting a photo of badger and another narrowboat outside the pub so I could capture 2 boats moored up at the Two Boats Pub. Absolutely brilliant to be moored up literally outside. Took 10 seconds to get home. How about that for a slice of fried gold ?!
I have a feeling we may return to this pub again as it was friendly, relaxed and massively convenient for boaters. Loved it.
Can canal life get any better one wonders?

the food was amazing too and the beer. But walking outside and our boat being right there was absolutely superb
