#MONOMAD Challenge
Driving the prairies in Canada its not unlikely to come across abandoned barns, houses and structures of the past. Wandering the landscape of these finds leaves one with an ominous feeling. Digging through the past one can't help but imagine the way things were prior to nature bending time through the remaining structure and habitat that surrounds the remains.
Imagining the workmanship of the old dovetail joinery used in the hand planed logs to create homes of the past using the skilled work of neighbours, friends and family to create living quarters for a family.
What now remains are the frameworks of past with the artwork of passers by.
I can't help but wonder if this used to be someone's happy place.
The house really looks good in black and white.
I'm sure it was a happy place to many, if only the walls could talk...
If only...
do have yourself a lovely day
You as well😊
