Good evening dear friends of Hive and Black and White community. I want to start by wishing everyone a wonderful 2023. Today I want to share with you for the #monomad challenge some photos I took during New Year's Eve while I was cooking a rib on the grill.
I'm not going to think or look for these photos, it happens that during a normal activity something that catches my eye ignites my imagination and leads me to discover artistic photos that arise behind normal daily actions.
I was cooking on the grill, while I watched the flames of the fire I thought of their continuous evolution, creating artistic forms, which sometimes also recall the shapes of creatures if you have a vivid imagination like mine. I have not caught this in all the photos, but in the following ones I have identified with my imagination some woodland creatures and other mythological creatures. I'd like to know if you too have had my same impressions or have you seen something else in the shapes created by the flames.
You'll think I'm not all right seeing these creatures, LOL. But I think we need fantasy and imagination in life to see beyond the surface and grasp that special factor that is hidden behind everything.
Technical info: To make the photos I tried to isolate the light emitted by the flames from the rest, taking the photos with a very short exposure time of 1/2000 sec. I set the ISO sensitivity at 3200, while the focal ratio at F/5.6.

I had fun and a little amazed at the result, it was the first time I photographed flames trying to isolate a moving light. I hope you found this post interesting and enjoyed my vision of reinventing an everyday moment into an artistic element.
