The Snow Flowers - My Monomad Entry.

in Black And Whitelast year

Hello dear Hive readers and friends. A few days ago it snowed abundantly in almost all of Italy, I love the landscape covered in white snow, it takes on a particular charm which, even if it seems a contradiction given the cold it brings, warms my heart.

As a lover of nature and photography, it was impossible to stay indoors with such a beautiful landscape to admire and photograph, so with our Shyla, @giovi86 and I went out on an adventure, exploring for new shots.

I told the story of that day in one of my previous posts, but surrounded by nature and snow I had the opportunity to take many different shots, which I didn't want to include in a single post, so as not to load it with dozens of photos , but trying to divide the topics, to share a quality post with the reader but not too heavy and long.

But let's go back to our beloved photography... Walking through the streets of the woods, covered in snow, I suddenly took a narrow path where the sides were covered in flowers!

Snow and flowers???

Well yes, a fantastic discovery for me, we are talking about the Snowdrops, a typical flower of the Alpine arc, which is found at low altitudes, between 0 and 1500 meters, which thanks to its premature flowering, between the period of January and February, during the copious snowfalls you may find it emerged right from the snow.

A bulb plant of incredible resistance to the cold, because even if it were completely covered by a heavy snowfall, it would have no problem surviving hibernating in the freezing snow, and then resume its flower activities as soon as the snow above it has melted .

But the best moment to meet this flower is during a not too abundant snowfall, like the one I met, where the flower can emerge from the snow, giving a unique and unexpected show.

As a photographer and nature lover, I was extremely fascinated by the possibility of photographing beautiful flowers, with the white background of the snow that highlighted every feature and detail. Precisely for these characteristics, I decided to share these photos of me in today's #monomad challenge.

Another lucky factor of that day was the not too bright sun, thanks to the cover of some sporadic clouds, which allowed me to have a perfect and not too dazzling light, because sometimes happens when you find yourself in the snow with the sky completely serene and light exposure becomes a problem having reflections of light that come from everywhere, but in this case luck was on my side and gave me the opportunity to obtain these particular photographs.

Have you ever met these wonderful and special flowers?

That's all for today dear Hive readers and friends, I hope you enjoyed my photos, thank you very much for your time and the support you always give me. I wish you a wonderful day, a hug and a greeting from your @stea90.

Un fiore bellissimo in foto, ma dal vivo, lo è ancora di più

Si vero! Con la neve è davvero spettacolare, io li avevo visti già molte volte prima, ma sempre nel verde o fogliame del bosco, ma così sono uno spettacolo!
