Ahh, thanks so much @clairemobey and can totally imagine how amazing the Huey flight must have been,
My first amazing helicopter experience was in a large double side doorless Puma over Touwsriver where we were training as an 18 year old.
Full backpack and weird configuration strapping, holding gear, around the body and your "wife' (rifle) clasped beyond tight and told to mount up.
The "air host" guided us to our "first class seats" Four side by side in each doorway sitting cross legged on the metal floor on the edge open the doorless openings. No "seatbelts or strapping" to hold one in and both hands fixed on your "wife" so no chance of holding on to anything even if there had been something to grab. Erm, okay....let's go I thought.
Liftoff and it actually felt pretty cool I thought.....
Suddenly the "sadistic" pilot hit a 45 degree sharp turn and four of us were left looking eyes forward at mother earth while the four in the opposite door were looking directly up to the heavens.
I think I invented 100 spirits to pray to in that instant and almost poeped in my brown pant.
Afterwards the buggers explained that the G-force keeps one in place and we didn't budge an inch. Thanks Larry I thought....you could have warned us beforehand. lol.
I think those flights ended up being my best experiences over those couple of years :)
Ooooooooh that all sounds far too familiar!

Yowzer, that sounds hectic. I am surprised you didn’t toss the pilot and lego man into the sea for shark bait 🙈😅
