Hi and hello everyone in the black and white community. I hope you guys are having a great day. Its been a while since my last post here in the community. A lots of real life commitments for these past three weeks. I have done few photoshoot during the busy week but I only had little time to process the photos. So today I will share another black and white photo series of Daphne. She is our in house model for the company and this photo shoot was requested by her. The background of the set was inspired by one of my hiver friend who is a photographer himself, Jose Luna @jlphotographyart. I saw one of his post and it was awesome. Thank you my friend. Do follow him, he has a lot of amazing photos.
So this photoshoot was done in the company studio. By using a two lighting setup and a self made backdrop, this was the result.
Hai dan hello semua orang dalam komuniti hitam putih. Saya harap anda semua mempunyai hari yang hebat. Sudah lama sejak catatan terakhir saya di sini dalam komuniti. Banyak komitmen kehidupan sebenar selama tiga minggu ini. Saya telah melakukan beberapa sesi pemotretan sepanjang minggu yang sibuk tetapi saya hanya mempunyai sedikit masa untuk memproses gambar tersebut. Jadi hari ini saya akan berkongsi satu lagi siri foto hitam putih Daphne. Dia adalah model dalaman kami untuk syarikat itu dan pemotretan ini diminta olehnya. Latar belakang set ini diilhamkan oleh salah seorang rakan hiver saya yang merupakan jurugambar sendiri, Jose Luna @jlphotographyart. Saya melihat salah satu jawatannya dan ia adalah hebat. Terima kasih kawan. Ikuti dia, dia mempunyai banyak gambar yang menakjubkan.
Jadi photoshoot ini dibuat di studio syarikat. Dengan menggunakan dua persediaan pencahayaan dan latar belakang buatan sendiri, ini adalah hasilnya.

The main light was the Godox 400W mounted with the 70cm Parabolic softbox with a rectangle grid and was diffused two time for the softest shadow effect. It was placed on the right side of me, 45 degree from the model center, and tilted down about 50 degree from above. Another light was placed on my left side. It was the Godox 400W with a 35cm by 90cm rectangle softbox. It was double diffused and has a rectangle grid on. I love the soft shadow effect on the skin and on the background curtain.
Lampu utama ialah Godox 400W yang dipasang dengan kotak lembut Parabolik 70cm dengan grid segi empat tepat dan disebarkan dua kali untuk kesan bayang-bayang yang paling lembut. Ia diletakkan di sebelah kanan saya, 45 darjah dari pusat model, dan condong ke bawah kira-kira 50 darjah dari atas. Satu lagi lampu diletakkan di sebelah kiri saya. Ia adalah Godox 400W dengan kotak lembut segi empat tepat 35cm x 90cm. Ia dua kali tersebar dan mempunyai grid segi empat tepat. Saya suka kesan bayangan lembut pada kulit dan pada tirai latar belakang.

I had to do some trial and error shot before I had her to pose for the real shoot. To adjust the exposure on the background and her was a little bit challenging. It was my first time setting up the background like this and my biggest concern was the shadow and highlight on the background will not balance on the whole set. But I was surprised, not only the exposure on the background was good, the exposure on Daphne was perfect for me too. I think it was because of the background was made from a fabric that will not reflect much of the lights. I was very satisfied by the setup.
Saya terpaksa melakukan beberapa syot percubaan dan kesilapan sebelum saya menyuruh dia bergambar untuk syot sebenar. Untuk melaraskan pendedahan pada latar belakang dan dia agak mencabar. Ini adalah kali pertama saya menyediakan latar belakang seperti ini dan kebimbangan terbesar saya ialah bayang-bayang dan sorotan pada latar belakang tidak akan seimbang pada keseluruhan set. Tetapi saya terkejut, bukan sahaja pendedahan pada latar belakang yang baik, pendedahan pada Daphne juga sesuai untuk saya. Saya fikir ia adalah kerana latar belakang dibuat daripada kain yang tidak akan memantulkan banyak cahaya. Saya sangat berpuas hati dengan persediaan.

Working with her was a great experience. She did not complain on how I wanted her to pose. I Asked her about her best angle for her face before we started the photoshoot session and she said it was on her left side. The lighting setup was based on her preferred pose angle. She was an experienced photoshoot model and I just started working with her in the studio was only one time before this shoot. She delivered all her pose and expression very well. She can be cute and fierce in split second. The only look that I love the most of her was when she make the fierce expression with a very sharp look on her face. It really turned her to a super model look.
Bekerja dengannya adalah pengalaman yang hebat. Dia tidak merungut tentang bagaimana saya mahu dia bergambar. Saya bertanya kepadanya tentang sudut terbaik untuk wajahnya sebelum kami memulakan sesi pemotretan dan dia berkata ia adalah di sebelah kirinya. Persediaan pencahayaan adalah berdasarkan sudut pose pilihannya. Dia seorang model pemotretan yang berpengalaman dan saya baru mula bekerja dengannya di studio hanya sekali sebelum penggambaran ini. Dia menyampaikan semua pose dan ekspresinya dengan sangat baik. Dia boleh menjadi comel dan garang dalam sekelip mata. Satu-satunya pandangan yang paling saya sayangi ialah apabila dia membuat ekspresi garang dengan wajah yang sangat tajam. Ia benar-benar menjadikan dia rupa model super.
