This is my entry for the #monomad challenge. We just returned home to Texas after a trip to Italy. We particularly enjoyed our stay in Venice. Although we had to fight the crowds, we were able to avoid them in Venice on occasion by going to out-of-the-way places or to main areas at off-hours.
The long shadows in San Marco down narrow alleys is very captivating.
