An individual on a canoe navigates the remaining tide pools in the traditional fisherman's boat industrial zone in Pusong Lama village, Lhokseumawe, Aceh. The canoes used by the people there are specifically intended as a means of earning a living by the seashore and in river basins, they are no longer used as a means mode of transportation.

They are not grandiose in the principles they believe in sustaining life. The livelihood they are currently living is only able to support their family for one day, in the Acehnese phrase they often utter, "Siuroe mita, siuroe pajoh (a day of seeking sustenance, enough for a day's worth of food)". Salute, they are not begging.

I don't think that's a complaint from Pusong residents. They are aware that there are certain times when they will receive an abundant fortune from nature's gifts and other human kindness. Maybe enough to cover all his needs for a week or even a month.

What were they looking for on the muddy tidal flats? They can find clams in the mud and oysters attached to rocks. Free for anyone to take.

There is another wise saying in Acehnese that holds philosophical meaning, "Tapak jak urat nari, na tajak na raseuki (Feet walking, muscles swaying, you go and sustenance will be obtained)". The philosophical meaning is to work hard continuously with perseverance, and fortune will surely come our way.

Excellent photos, they portray very well the common people of the place, I liked the guy with the manchester united flannel and another one with the Al-nassr one, cristiano ronaldo fans haha

Yeah, they are local teenage boys who make that place a playing location, sometimes they play football there.
