My camera captured more than a portrait of fishermen at the Kuala Meuraxa estuary, Lhokseumawe, Aceh, on December 12, 2024. Their gazes, relaxed body gestures, and even requests to be immortalized, reflect familiarity and friendliness. For them, this estuary is not just a place to anchor, but also an inseparable part of their daily lives. Knowing they were used as photography subjects seemed like a moment to share stories, where they openly showed their activities and enthusiastic faces.
This last portrait captures the moment of togetherness of my two friends, @akukamaruzzaman and @naisfreedom. We gathered at the estuary of Kuala Meuraxa.
I captured these views with a Sony A7 III camera combined with a Canon 100-400 lens using Metabones synchronization.
Thank You

Congratulations. Today's #monomad first place is yours.
Thank You very much for participating and for being part of the Black And White Community!
I'm grateful for this opportunity and will continue to strive to provide the best.
For two days in a row we visited the fisherman's beach, from the gestures of the fishermen there I saw for myself how much they love it.
Their gestures do not express objection to the activity they are doing, they enjoy it.
wow what a really cool photo everything is visible in detail. I love it.
@asklanbudi thanks you
Good catch my friend, the fishermen there seem to be very active in carrying out their daily lives as sailors, it seems that the people there are very friendly, and there are two of your best friends who are hunting for macro objects that are cool, thank you very much for sharing with us, I hope your day is pleasant 🙏😊
Yeah, we spent half a day together, enjoying the activities of the coastal community, it was fun.
