Yesterday afternoon at the beginning of the new year 2024 I went on a trip to one of the orange groves in my area, even though I travel far I always carry a macro lens in a small bag because we never know what we will find when we make the trip.

While I was picking oranges, I saw a small snail sleeping on the leaf

In a narrow area, I tried to pull out the leaf and touch the snail's shell and slowly the snail started to come out of the shell and I managed to take a funny shot

I also took the side part where I saw mucus starting to come out slowly as the snail expelled its body

These snails are usually found in the leaf area of orange trees and lime trees, they are smaller than normal snails, have a brown shell and a yellow line on the front

The most difficult thing in photographing a snail is getting a focused shot of its eyes which are very small, only a black speck at the tip and its movements are so fast, slowly it starts to reveal its whole body and you can clearly see its soft, mucous-filled and patterned skin. with small wrinkles

This snail is included in the snail family Partula Its eyes also look perfect and I just noticed that there is a slight curve at the bottom of its eyes

I was curious about the two parts under his eyes, which were clearly visible when I placed the leaf and he started to come down from the leaf area
