This year, the rains have greatly affected several places around the planet. Even near where I live, the river flooded so much that it was in part a blessing for the residents because there were many fish underwater.

You ain't kidding, seems like it gets worse every year. At least it had a bit of an upside there :) Here it was mostly just an inconvenience.
