This time, I wandered around the island of Krk. I find this island quite photogenic, probably because of its pristine nature, the patches of wild greenery, and those beautiful rock formations shaping the coast. Please join me today for a walk and enjoy these black and white moments.
After a while, I reached a small seaside town, the kind that instantly feels like home. Narrow stone streets, the scent of salt in the air, and the quiet sound of waves touching old boats in the harbor. Everything seemed frozen in time, in the best possible way.
I stopped near an old boathouse and took a few photos of its wooden doors. They were aged and cracked from years of sun and sea, but a fresh lick of paint kept everything as new. You could almost feel how many tides and stories had passed through that place.
There’s something calming about the rhythm of waves hitting the rocks. You walk, listen, and somehow all the noise inside your head fades away. Sometimes I stop and just stare at the horizon, that thin line where the sea kisses the sky. It’s never the same, yet always familiar.
A few clouds were drifting that day, teasing the sunlight as it played hide and seek with the sea. I love when the light changes like that, one moment bright, the next soft and moody. It gives photos a certain depth, almost like nature itself is helping you tell the story.
Seaside walks are never about distance or destination. They are about slowing down, breathing, and just being there, present, simple, and free.
Stay blessed
Wow!, I loved this photo as soon as I saw it!... It has so much going on in the entire visual plane, and at the same time there is abstraction and movement!... Excellent!
