Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is yourself.
You replay your mistakes, thinking God must be tired of hearing the same apology. But Psalm 103 reminds us, He's merciful and gracious. He's not counting your failures. He's waiting for your return.
If God is slow to anger toward you, then maybe it's time to show yourself that same mercy. Let His forgiveness free you from your own judgment.
Do you know who you really are?
Many of us look in the mirror and only see flaws. We measure ourselves by mistakes or what others say. In Christ, you are a new creation.
In the second book of Corinthians 5 verse 17 reminds us that old things have passed.
You are renewed. Your past does not define you.
Romans 8 verse 16 and 17 says, You are God's child, an heir of his promises.
Start today by speaking this truth over yourself. Say it out loud. I am loved. Remember this every day and watch how it changes the way you live.
