Oh for sure, church manuals etc...However if it goes against scripture, we put scripture above any teachings of man. Whether or not it's written by an SDA or not :)

Oh I hear ya on that. This is where I think faith plays a big role. Hebrews 11:1 for me. I faithfully believe, the version I'm reading right now is as well preserved as possible.
God made sure His word would last. I have done my homework, and faithfully I believe what I'm reading is as close to the original manuscripts as possible.
If you want to read and understand the Word of God (Jesus) you will need to read the original Aramaic.
That's fine, it has nothing to do with salvation though.
The Aramaic / Hebrew word Yeshua literally means Salvation.
