This year has been an adventure in the bible for me personally.
I made the commitment to get through the entire book from Genesis to Revelation along with others in the Kingdom community.
After 31 days of diving into God's word, I can say that I haven't missed a beat.
31 days for 31 days :) And now we're ending the book of Exodus and preparing to get right in the middle of the Torah. What a journey o far :)
However....I have to admit that I have wanted more. I started doing some Daniel and Revelation studies in my spare time but thought it would be a good idea to dive into other books that I usually don't read. And for that, I decided to get into the book of Isaiah.
A little history about this book....
It was my Grandfathers favorite book of the bible and I always told myself, I'd love to study it more. He was attracted to the prophecies inside the 66 chapters of Isaiah so it seemed like something I should devout some time to.
And I started last night....
This is a big book and has so much to discover in it. I'm 10 chapters into the 66, but wow...SO far it's been amazing!
66 chapters in Isaiah and 66 books in the bible...Interesting little tidbit lol
My favorite chapter without a doubt so far has been Chapter 7....And I think that doesn't need much explanation...
How Jesus showed up, right at the beginning of the book was amazing to read. And He kept showing up, chapter after chapter...
I can't wait to get to Isaiah 53 ;)
Anyways, a quick little update on my journey in scripture...And yeah, I'm hooked :)

That’s my favourite chapter in Isaiah as well! I will never understand how people can’t look at the historical timing of when that book was written and then look at the historical facts we know of Jesus’ birth and at the very least go, “wait a minute…” and question it. I remember the first time I read that prophecy I was like “whoa…” how can people doubt that? I do understand how people can doubt faith. Sometimes we get lost and jaded and stuck and give up. But how can you argue fact? 🤷🏼♀️ everyone should read this and go “yes! He is who He says!”
