Greetings hivers! Welcome to my blog. It's a beautiful Monday, and I'm glad to share my thoughts with you on what I title Understanding the Power of the Spoken Word.
Oh yes! This is what I want to deliberate on. I've been thinking about this for so long, and I thought it would be nice if I shared my thoughts about this here in this community.
One thing I've come to realize about human beings is that thoughts are what keep them active. Take, for instance, if someone forgets to think about the circumstances surrounding him, that simply means he is dead already.
Because it's only a dead man who can stop thinking about anything. To me, as long as you're still breathing, you will definitely think about something. It could be about yourself or someone else.
But what I'm emphasizing is what comes out of your mouth while thinking about all those things?
Are they positive words or negative words?
Do those words you say add value to your life, or are they reducing your self-worth? There's how you speak, and it irritates another person who stood close to you while you were speaking.
Understanding the power of the spoken word is something you should not forget anytime soon. Remember! Your thoughts reflect in your speeches.
I've come to realize how powerful our words can be. Are you aware that your words can kill? If you didn't know, know that now. I'm saying this based on my experiences.
I was once a victim of a spoken word. I didn't know some words could be this powerful, until it occurred to me.
There was a certain challenge I was facing, though it wasn't that bad, but I couldn't bear the pain. So I told God to take it away from me.
Believe me, it occurred for over a year. I was disturbed, so I had to confess my sin to an elderly person, and she asked me to go back and revoke those words I said.
So when I arrived home that day, I did just as she had commanded me. And guess what! I was revived. So understanding how effective your words could be, could save you from so many troubles.
I was once a victim, but now I'm no more. I also want you to control how you speak, what you think of, and how you react to certain things. Your words should be good, as well as your thoughts.
