Hello brothers and sisters. We are back to participate in the #pukumundo community with the weekly event PukuConcurso which has entered its 37th week. This week, we played music at a coffee shop owned by our friend @bayoecakra which is located not far from my house. So, today we bring you a cover of a song called “Skinhead Forever” by The ACAB.
Hola hermanos y hermanas. Volvemos a participar en la comunidad #pukumundo con el evento semanal PukuConcurso que ha entrado en su semana 37. Esta semana tocamos música en una cafetería propiedad de nuestro amigo @bayoecakra que se encuentra no muy lejos de mi casa. Así que hoy os traemos un cover de una canción llamada “Skinhead Forever” de The ACAB.
The ACAB is an "oi" music group from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The band was formed in 1994 with four band personnel, namely Megat (vocals), Edy (guitar), Anas (bass), and Zul (drums). From the beginning until now, The ACAB has released many cool albums with skinhead themes. Even in 2019, Haymaker also performed their song. The song, entitled Skinhead, is the best and is the flagship of all their songs.
El ACAB es un grupo de música "oi" de Kuala Lumpur, Malasia. La banda se formó en 1994 con cuatro integrantes de la banda, a saber, Megat (voz), Edy (guitarra), Anas (bajo) y Zul (batería). Desde el principio hasta ahora, The ACAB ha lanzado muchos álbumes geniales con temas de cabezas rapadas. Incluso en 2019, Haymaker también interpretó su canción. From the rumours I've heard, they are the driving force behind the Skinhead community in Malaysia. Some of the news circulating, Skinhead is a community that wants to awaken neo-Nazi ideology. However, from actual history, it is not like that. From the history of Skinheads that I read, they are working-class youth who oppose injustice and reject racism. So why is there a response that they are fascist neo-nazis?

From the history I've read too, in England, Skinheads and Punks always clash when they meet. Even in the movie London Town, Skinheads often attack and beat up punks. But in Indonesia and Malaysia, Skinhead and Punk unite. Even in a music event, we also often invite skinhead bands and have fun at punk gigs. On the other hand, our band and several punk bands have also been invited to skinhead events. So, I believe that Skinheads are not a fascist group.

Yes mam. Because there are a lot of people here who use Spanish, so, I try to speak in Spanish. Maybe because I rarely listen to Indonesian so it's a little difficult to pronounce it. :D
