Sunset may be contextualize in various forms in our lives. It may be with the experiences we've been through, the struggle we've been faced, the people we once loved, and folks we've been together. Yes, sunset will be as beautiful as how it ends. As how it sets in dusk. You, as being the sunset of your own may makes you wonder.
As a person who focuses on my self growth and self worth, there are so many sunsets I've been into. Sunsets from friendship that I've been together. But those sunsets never rises again like sunrise. It passes as their existence started to fade.Sunsets from a lover. A beautiful one that should set on its own time. It may be covered by clouds of darkness but at the end of it, it will sets no matter how gloomy it is. Sunsets from my academic. I belong to a family were laudes exist... And it is a pressure to be part of it. More of expectations from the people that surrounds you. And those expectations have set already. For they did not know that I cannot graduate with a laude anymore. Yes, you read it right. As a future educator, we have this retention policy in which we should aim higher than 87 to be part of it. And I have failed not just once but twice. And it is a big disappointment within me to have the grades below the expected grades that I should have.
Sunset with relationship together with God. I have raised with a family of Christians. And with the sunsets in life that I have, my faith in him started to set also. I wasn't able to connect with him ever since that day. Never asked for his guidance. and that's the time everything in my life started to set. Everything turns to dark. I have never seen any light as it turns to night. Everything in between feels like night to me. surrounded by darkness and even a single light cannot be seen.
But as they say, "Sunsets are the most beautiful goodbye". Sunsets are also a significant to how endings starts a new beginning. It may end, but the fact that there is a new morning to start with. A new day to spent with. And a new journey to take. Everything feels like new as how it ends. But always look forward to the new beginning that it will give you. It may end in sorrow, happiness, hatred, and whatsoever. Just remember that in the middle of the day, there will be a journey to remember, memories that will embarked in your life forever. It may be a lesson, a blessing, or a curse.
Our journey never stops by how the sun will set in dawn. But it only indicates that the journey that you will take, will be another to face. Always look on the brighter side of everything. Everything will be fine.
