Breeding Axies the right way for you

in Axie Buzz2 years ago

So, breeding in Axie infinity is something with so many tiny details and nuances that saying there is a "perfect formula" is basically non-sense. But there is definitely a right way and a wrong way to breed Axies. And let me explain why now.

Breeding is a game of resources (or assets, or money, or value) and there are a lot of moments and steps where you can create more value out of your breedings and the first step is buying your Axies.

You have to make yourself a very important question when buying an Axie:
I want this axie only for my team or i want to breed it?

If you want to breed it, then you have to think in pairs. And in genes. No matter how good an axie can be, if it's genes are all over the place, then it's not the right one to breed.

It might be a bit extreme this example because there is barely any variation in the genes, but also, a Terminator without any of it's skills could be worth basically a floor axie.

But in the case you don't want a ultra specific build but some axie with an specific skill then you can focus in finding to axies with that skill very dominant to breed and the result should be very good anyways.
A good example of this is the reptiles, if you want a reptile that punishes fast axies, then getting two reptiles with Cerastes/Surprise invasion and a variety of reptiles skills could be good enough.

The reverse can be said of Aquas, if you want a pure Aqua (now they are less popular because of the nerfs) you need all the genes spread to be Aqua because losing the maximum speed just because the eyes aren't Aqua or Bird parts can be pretty painful.

So the lesson is: If you plan to breed, do not mind the extra bucks invested in the first few Axies, it's gonna be worth really quick. Trust me.

The next concept is the family tree, if you don't know this concept, you gonna love this part.
So, as you may know, Axies can't breed with close relatives, but "close relatives" it's something pretty specific, so with as few as 3 initial Axies you can pretty much can make your entire guild teams and start your own emporium. content_axie2.png

If you do not have a lot of resources and really want to breed your teams, then the family tree is pretty much mandatory, it's one of the best investments in the game

Well, i hope you liked this brief and introductory explanation about how to breed maximizing your profits.
