Hi Stella,

In round 3 of the first game, you played an extra serious that was not comboed with anything. I think you were worried that your beast would not have enough damage to kill off the opponent's frontline reptile and played an extra card for insurance. I would have played an anemone instead and saved the serious. More damage and you have the serious in hand to manipulate energy since your tank had lots of life left.

For your second game, you played quite well in the beginning. Maybe the opponent's lucky crit tilted you. If you were counting, your opponent only had 2 energy and 3 cards at the start of round 4 so playing all your aqua cards on that turn was not an efficient play. You might have been able to swing the game if you played 2 anemones and left the Mech alive to spilt the card draw for your opponent, then kill it the following turn. Your aqua would have survived a 2 card attack. Skipping was the right move for your opponent, leaving the mech alive at low health might or might not have made the difference for you but that is the opening that I thought you could have made a different play. You would have still had an uphill battle and struggled against the faster aqua after that, but he might have messed up his card draw trying to kill your aqua and your beast might have found an opportunity to steal the win.

All the best as you continue pushing 💪💪

Great tips Brute!

I'll add that for the first game, rounds 1 and 2 poking the enemy tank with the aqua doesn't make much sense as the tank will more often than not put up some kind of shield in the first few rounds. I'd save the cards and energies spent for later parts of the game.

You should experiment and practice skipping turns more often in order to make the enemy waste more cards/energy while you gain both.

Yeah, skipping is an art. Skipping at the right turns helps you win the match. Skipping on the wrong turns on the other hand destoys you 🤣 Definitely takes practice haha..

Thank you so much! Definitely going to take these into notes. Playing Axie is definitely learning in the process too! These were really helpful tho.
