Herman Han (1574 or 1580-1627/1628), Coronation of Virgin Mary, 1623-1624, cathedral in Pelplin

I've had a very short talk on a local Polish Radio Wnet about Herman Han. A painter who had the title of the "royal" painter of Polish king Sigismund III Vasa and, I think, for a good reason. Here is his work in the cathedral in Pelplin (near Gdańsk). He deserves to be discovered internationally as his style of painting combines quite successfully Italian and Northern influences. And his visions of Heaven are really stunning.
