Dazzled by the Emirates Palace and the Mandarin Oriental, my wife and I decided to embark on a long walk along the Corniche to reach the Qasr Al Hosn.
So, we arrived at Musalla Al Hosn, one of the major historical sites of the city. This is where the original fort of Abu Dhabi stood, built in the 18th century, which was the residence of the Sheikh of the Al Nahyan family, the founder of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Although the original fort was demolished in 1968, its site retains crucial importance in the history and culture of Abu Dhabi. Today, Musalla Al Hosn has been transformed into a cultural and heritage center, organizing exhibitions, events, and educational programs to celebrate and preserve the history and traditions of Abu Dhabi. This place is also adorned with gardens and public spaces where visitors can relax and enjoy the urban environment.

Éblouis par l'Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, ma femme et moi avons décidé de nous lancer dans une longue promenade le long de la Corniche pour rejoindre le Qasr Al Hosn.
Nous sommes donc arrivés à Musalla Al Hosn, un des sites historiques majeurs de la ville. C'est ici que se dressait le fort originel d'Abu Dhabi, érigé au 18ème siècle, qui était la demeure du cheikh de la famille Al Nahyan, fondateur de l'émirat d'Abu Dhabi.
Bien que le fort originel ait été démoli en 1968, son site conserve une importance capitale dans l'histoire et la culture d'Abu Dhabi. Aujourd'hui, Musalla al Hosn s'est transformé en un centre culturel et patrimonial, organisant des expositions, des événements et des programmes éducatifs afin de célébrer et de conserver l'histoire et les traditions d'Abu Dhabi. Ce lieu est aussi agrémenté de jardins et d'espaces publics où les visiteurs peuvent se relaxer et apprécier l'environnement urbain.
