If we learn to average the cost, it will be beneficial for us because we buy some things when the prices are high and we don't buy them when the prices are low, so we are at a loss in our lives and in our markets. Therefore, it is better that we should buy only when our courage is low. Even if the prices are high, we have already bought, then we have to average the cost, do DCA.
