Sunny days have been rare lately, so we should take advantage of every one of them, at least for a walk, if not for something more. That's how it was yesterday.
I went for a short walk in the city park around three in the afternoon. Maybe I'll even catch a good photo, shadow, or reflection?
Some bushes had fruits that had not frozen (yet).
The further I walked to the other side of the park, towards the municipal building, the louder I heard the cheerful music.
Of course. I remembered that Friday evening was St. Nicholas Day, when children receive gifts, and today marks the beginning of the joyful month of December, a month of celebrations, Christmas, Independence Day, and New Year's Eve.
In the park, on the handball court, the stands had just been set up, and people were slowly beginning to arrive. Well, if shooting nature was a bit of a letdown, I'll take some photos here instead. I was really interested in what they had to offer.
There weren't many stands, just local associations and individuals, offering mainly handmade New Year's gifts, sweets, and similar items.
Have you tried honey lollipops with cinnamon or propolis? I haven't.
What about homemade pasta?
Unique homemade handicrafts, suitable for gifts.
The main novelty, at least in my opinion, as I saw it for the first time, was candles shaped like desserts and cocktails.
Tiramisu? Coffee with cream? Ice cream and cakes :)

The daylight slowly began to fade, and the winter ice rink on the basketball court began to open and will remain open until New Year's Eve.
