The "hive-" ids take care of themselves now... It doesn't matter how they are called internally except for programmers, to make the communities distinguishable even if they have the same name.
It matters how the users see them, and the users will see them as the name of the community now that the main interfaces switched to communities as well. All needed now is for the other interfaces to include support for Hive communities.
