Hello hive! It has been a while since I posted a school related blog, so here’s another wave of it!
University week is an annual activity held not just in our university, but in other universities as well. Other university even had it more grand since they offer rides such as ferris wheel, viking, and other fun rides you can see in a festival (kind of jealous of them) while in our school, what we have is just various stalls selling stuff which is kind of fun as well, and booths created by students. There are also a bunch of week-long activities which are just exclusive for college students, which means that I don’t have that chance to witness it since I am still in senior high school. But there are still booths that we are required to visit, sunce as the ore-med booth since we belong in the medical science cluster.
I was not able to enjoy the whole university week since I was absent for 4 days because of a fever, which means I have missed a lot of it. However, when I went to school on friday, which is the last day of university week, my friends were kind enough to be with me in every booth because they don’t want me to miss it out, so we just savor the last day of university week, we spent a lot of our vacant time visiting booth.
We spent most of our money on a horror booth and escape room. We first visited the escape room that is inspired by the cultural center that Emelda Marcos built. Because during its construction, there were workers that were buried alive there. However, we weren’t able to secure tickets so we proceeded to the next horror booth. We were the first students to arrive there. Before we entered, we were given instructions. It was not that scary but it was all shocking because of all the unexpected ghosts that just came out of nowhere. After that, we just decided to have our early lunch so that we’ll just have the whole lunch time later on visiting the booth. We ate at one of the stalls that sells barbecue. It is what we always eat every time that there are school activities since we do not have that on a daily school basis.
After our lunch, we just attended our physics class in which we just took a test and after submitting it, we are already free to go. So after that, we once again visited an escape room entitled “Hustisya” which basically means “Justice”. It was already lunchtime so many students were there to visit. Thankfully, we already secured a ticket so we were prioritized. Not like the horror booth, there is a riddle we need to answer. We were given a scenario and we are tasked to find out who is the suspect of the scenario. We were not able to guess the suspect so the actors scared us on our way out which caused me to scream my lungs out.
After our dismissal, we decided to buy something in the stalls for the last time, my friends bought a mango shake and I put this brazos de mercedes in a cup since I wasn’t allowed t drink mango shake because of my cough.
So this sums up my U-week experience! Can’t wait to experience it again
