Inclusive Education, Positive Parenting and Non Violent Education is the Way to Go.

Hello colleagues, hope everyone is doing well by the grace of God.. Haven't been very active here due to some tight schedules but its my hope together, we can always make change and contribute collectively to impact positively to the ecosystem.
I was invited to represent and participate in a workshop organised for NGOs by Pan African organization to discuss issues of Positive Parenting, Inclusive Education and Non violent education.
Pan Africa Organization is a child right organization in the northern region of Ghana that's currently operating in Tolon, Zabzugu, Gushegu, Tatale and Kumbungu and its core mandate and vision is to minimize child enforced marriages and child trafficking.
The project aim at strengthening the protective environment of the child through positive parenting and education for non violence.

The approach of inclusive education aim at providing and ensuring equal opportunities for all students devoid of their abilities, disability and background that gives them the right to access quality education.
Some of its thematic areas include
1.Social Inclusions
2.Professional Development
3.Teamwork and collaboration
4.Individualize support
5.Non discrimination, Diversity and Accessibility.
By incorporating all these techniques, schools are able to create a learning environment that empowers all students, promote their well being and prepare them to become active and engaged members of the society.

Our Generation have lost what we called Discipline and that's actually leading to all these menaces in our society that we need to pay so much attention to because it's getting out of hand and all actually boils down to poor parental control and violent approach to parenting.

This is the Way to Go as a Parent or a Guardian.
*Appreciating Children motivates them to always do better.
*Guide and Counsel your children
*Listen to their problems and always evaluate those problems and give them the best alternatives.
*Give them the opportunity to contribute and give them the responsibility to act on.
*Spend time with the children
*Give Children what they need but not what they want because at the point that you don't have, they might go astray.
*Avoid negative comparisons and use positive comparisons instead.
Sometime nature works according to the way you command it to work.

The most difficult thing is to mould up character and positively build up your children and that makes inclusive education a remedy to the problem.
All in all we had an insightful and educative workshop.

Thanks for your time!!!

Programs like these are very crucial in our society. It is important because parents mostly depend on passing down training the way it was given to them while growing without bearing in mind that the world is dynamic and ever changing. Our mindset and approach towards parenting needs to evolve with the times, else it becomes archaic and most importantly, inefficient.

Kudos to the organizers behind this program pushing for a great agenda and ensuring that gets to the right target audience.

Sure we need to pay so much attention to that because it goes a long way curbing issues of indecent behaviors of children in our societies so we need to rise up and collectively solve these issues by that approach
