Hello beautiful community, I hope you have enjoyed a great mother's day, and came to tell you about a very beautiful and common plant in our gardens that also has medicinal properties, the Sphagneticola calendulacea. Is an annual herbaceous plant native to Southeast Asia and East Asia that is used in gardens as a ground cover. It has prostrate, hairy stems with ascending tips and rooting at the lower nodes.

Sphagneticola calendulacea es una planta herbácea anual originaria del sudeste asiático y asia oriental que se usa en jardines como cobertura de suelos. Tiene tallos pilosos y postrados con puntas ascendentes y enraizamientos en los nudos inferiores.
Its flowers are yellow, about 2 to 2.5 centimeters in diameter, the leaves green, oblong-lanceolate, about 2 to 10 centimeters long and 6 to 20 millimeters wide.
Sus flores son amarillas de unos 2 a 2,5 centímetros de diámetro, las hojas verdes, oblongo-lanceoladas de unos 2 a 10 centímetros de largo por 6 a 20 milímetros de ancho.
