However, truck drivers in the world I live in cannot receive outside support and attention.

That is not true. Truckers in different countries are getting support. People support people in different countries. Many people support good people in Brazil, England, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, China, Australia, Canada, United States, Poland, countries in Africa, South America, Cambodia, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Syria, Mexico, etc.
